Henry Taliaferro

Henry Taliaferro entered the map trade in 1973. Over the next three decades, he worked with several leading firms in the field, and helped develop some of the most important private and institutional collections in the United States. Taliaferro is the author of Cartographic Resources (Tex. A&M Press, 1987), co-author (with Margaret Beck Pritchard) of Degrees of Latitude (The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, 2002), and co-editor (with Paul Cohen) of American Cities (Assouline, 2005). In addition, he is the author of articles published in such journals as The Map Collector and The Portolan.
